It is a pleasure to serve you. I sense you are a person who serves other people without asking what you are getting for.
Heb 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Mtt 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
The Lord is saying I will put your feet on higher ground. You served me so many years faithfully, but now is the time to think even bigger. I want to give you a greater responsibility. You might think, isn’t it too much for me, but the Lord says, that He is with you and with Him you can do all things. So, dare to trust Him and take the step out of the boat and walk on the water like Peter.
Those people you are serving are not very easy and often they carry many hurts in their heart. But always be aware, that the Holy Spirit is the comforter and that He lives inside of you. So, He will give you the right words as well as the right action. The Lord is always a promise keeper, so what He spoke to you years ago will be fulfilled also God’s timetable is sometimes different o what we think.
Stay in His comfort and be a comforter yourself
I saw a dark room with only a small light burning. You were sitting in a chair and starring at the wall. I sense you lost a person you loved. Now you are asking, why God, why? God wants to tell you that He not only knows the past, but the future. Sometimes we have to burry things to harvest new life.
Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
He knows your sorrow; He knows your pain. But if this hadn’t happened, you would have lost everything. Think about all that blessing God gave you over the years.
Job 1:21 the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
In two years’ time you will no longer feel pain about your loss, but you will feel deep joy about the new the Lord started in your life.
Ps 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
All your loneliness will be gone, but for now, for this very moment, know, that the Lord is with you and He is at your side and that He will never let you down.
In our human understanding, the least logical would be to start to praise the Lord. But when you start to, your feelings and emotions will change and your life will become full of life and light even in this situation you cannot understand.
Be strong and courageous,
I hear the Lord saying: He is in midst of tribulations, but he is still trusting Me. God knows your circumstances, God knows the desire of your heart, he knows what it means to feel alone. But be aware that He is always around you. No challenge is too big for Him.
Ps 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
I sense God had given you promises years ago, I don’t know whether by people or by dreams. Now that you waited for so long, it seems that hope is vanishing and that all was nonsense. But that is not true. God’s timetable is often so different to our timetable.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Ps 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
So be encouraged and believe that every word the Lord spoke to you will come to pass. Waitings is not easy, but it will bear great fruit.
